Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.
For instance, the top shield for racial discrimination Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with another item of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any wasted resources won't get compensated.
Survivors may acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of a piece equipment for example, increasing its damage.
Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage caused by melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a regular item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. item upgrading require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next success is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is completely risk-free and does not affect the item's durability. This is an excellent choice for those who want to get an edge in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and advancement of an upgraded item onto a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are a variety of ways to acquire them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows you to boost the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is accomplished by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to a higher level. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be used and an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. When players have enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once an item is on the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an added bonus or effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade tokens.
Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. This includes the type of item (either Armor or Weapon) and the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how far you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
